Every picture tells a story

Pain and Joy
Planes and boats
Stormy seas
Strange food
Strange people

Pain and Joy
Bumpy landings
Dark rooms
Dark thoughts

Pain and Joy
Acceptance and denial
Love and hate
Big and small

Pain and Joy

A Story

Someday some time,

Someday some time,
I will wage a war,
A war not to bring chaos among the people,
A war not to bring destruction,
A war that brings unity,
A war that brings fairness to the people,
A war that brings development agendas to the people`s eyes,
A war that brings sense of the need to learn from the past,
For a better future for all,
A war that preach peace and oneness,
A war that tries to make people,
Look at their personal development and try to better them more than anything,
Well, what is in store for us?
For our children and our children`s children?

As the governor of Narok County, the

Like every other county, Narok has its

My Home My Village.

A rising white smoke at a distance,
A sound of a mowing cow from a distance is heard,
With twinkling sound of a bell hanging down from its neck,
Marching towards the homesteads,
A mother calling her son,
A faded reply would be heard from a distance,
The sun is setting,
Everyone is busy,
Up and down winding up their chores,
It`s the sound of the village,
A sudden feeling of peace engulfs me,
It`s yet another warm feeling,
Away from the city noise,
So serene and conducive,
Bringing brotherhood closer,
Bonded by blood and culture,
The conformity in doing things,
It`s my home,
It`s my village,
With which I`m proud of,

Evolution and advancements in the world of computing have been tremendous over the past few decades. It has seen the major companies like Microsoft venture into the fictions of physics trying to make it into reality. It went ahead and demonstrated The Hololens which uses the power of 3D.

Some of the major areas that have been of greater focus across all the platforms have included: Teleportation (Beams of light are being used to look into the possibility of teleporting human beings),  Genetic Profiling (In trying to come up with best diagnostics practices to various biological problems including diseases and their treatment),Human Cloning (Biological engineering on human beings), Autopilot Vehicles (Self driven automotive and environmental friendly), Smart Adaptable Materials (like smart watches), Customized Food/Smart Packaging, Virtual Realities through powerful cameras and video recorders.

There is also areas like Artificial Intelligence and neural networks, Robotic, ETC.

Looking at all these areas the world of computing is expanding and needs more techno savvy people to be part of the production. This is because any intelligence needs to grow and needs to advance. There should therefore be an appetite for power (In case of ambitious politicians to be part of it), appetite for knowledge, appetite for information and data and how how to make this a reality in the positive way.

When I was Young

When I was young,
I used to climb tall trees around our home,
I would have a better view,
Of the land below me right before my eyes,
I would see and watch,
The nature`s beauty below me,
I would be amazed,
By the dazzling and aromatic flowers,
Of the bushes below me,

When I was young,
I would go to my grandmother`s place,
I would climb to the peak,
Of the hill whose foot laid on my grandmother`s garden,
From the peak,
I would have a better view of the ‘world’,
‘World’ that`s what I used to call,
Land below extending vast and wide,

Furthest my eye sight could reach,
I would be amazed,
By the thin line between the sky and the land,
I often wondered what`s beyond that line,
Amazement and wonder,
Rested in my mind,
“One day, I would have a chance,
To go beyond that line”,
I kept telling myself over and over,

When I was young,
Out in the field,
Looking after my father`s cows,
I would sit and watch,
The small insects busying around,
The beautiful butterflies,
Flying and show casing their colored wings,
The birds small and large,
Chirping and gracefully flying around,
We would cheer at two fighting bulls in the herd,

When I was young,
Out in the fields,
With my fellow young boys of the village,
We would play soccer,
We would do athletics, high jump, boxing, hides and seek,
We would run after wild animals,
For sheer fun of it or for game meat,

When I was young,
Everything around looked beautiful,
Everything we did was fun,
Happiness was everywhere,
Every homestead within the village,
Was home to anyone of us,
What we did was for the whole community,
Lowly in the village were helped,
Life was so nice and full of life,

Now I`m a big young man,
Everything changed,
Life styles changed,
Friends changed,
Only a few of my child hood friends I have retained,
Others, got no idea of their where about,
Economic situations changed,
Life`s prevalence changed,
It`s our life we did have then,
Full of memories,
It`s just a thought,
